Finally time has come.

by d on 2009/09/29

The Faux Noise will release their long awaited second song after the appreciated anthem “Oh Father (Hymn)”.
Their new song is called “I Can’t Stop Breaking You Down”. A psalm about life. It will be released later on this week.

In the mean time.
To set the beautiful mood of the new release and prepare you of whats coming your way. The Faux Noise proudly presents a lovely pre-release, namely the “I Can’t Stop Breaking You Down (Ambient & Harsh Noise Remix” by Troj of W.A.D.I. (Singapore). As you might know W.A.D.I. is a part of FacingGoliath.

The Faux Noise believes that this remix summarize everything their new song is all about.

Mornings In Berlin.

by d on 2009/09/09

Here’s something for your ears. “Mornings In Berlin” by The Faux Noise. Theme music for the Seoul-Stockholm Film Festival. Kind of ambient, morning, sunrise, awakening thing for all of the lonely souls.

We are all strangers, carrying each others secrets…

“Atmospheric Soundwaves”

by d on 2009/06/04

“Sweedish soundscape creators The Faux Noise released Oh Father (Hymn) not too long ago, and it’s atmospheric soundwaves have inspired 3 different remixes. KREEP, Efficient Sine and The MYSS have all paid tribute by putting their stamp on this track, and each sounds world apart, yet all capture the original qualities that made the original so jarring. Check each out below and prepare to ride a roller coaster of various emotions.”

“I must confess I hadnt heard of Swedish band The Faux Noise prior to an email in my inbox, but after a little digging im glad I recieved the bumper pack of mp3′s.

See The Faux Noise themselves are very seventees infused rock, much like Battles (only less…mathy) or Wolfmother, absolutely loving it. Its clear from the proggy sounds who their influences are.

Also included are a bunch of remixes from Kreeps, Efficient Sine and Myss. All of which you can imagine, intertwine the original guitar and vocals and let them loose in an electronic soundscape, where they can roam free. If further introduction were needed, I blatently stole this from the bands myspace:”

The Faux Noise vs KREEPS (US)

by d on 2009/05/28

OMFG! Just in time before we are about to release our second song. We’ve got a really dirty remix by KREEPS (US), the remixer of Chrome Hoof, TurboWolf, Elektrons, Coco Electrik, Sleepy Eyes Of Death, Micron 63 and more.
Oh Yes, the bass sounds like My Bloody Valentine during their best moments and hits hard like Autokratz.

Kreeps have so far released three singles and an acclaimed album on independent labels Output Recordings, Loog Records, Exi-Tone Records and Alpha-ville Records and also appeared this year in Rockstar Games “Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost And Damned”.
Kreeps has also remixed a wide range of acts such as Chrome Hoof, TurboWolf, Elektrons, Coco Electrik, Sleepy Eyes Of Death and more.

Kreeps also hosts the popular show – Radio Kreeps – on underground creative community Samurai FM.

Hi!

We are currently in the last stage of finishing our upcoming psalm “I Can’t Stop Breaking You Down”. In the meanwhile, we got this amazing remix from the brilliant guys in Efficient Sine. An analogue neu-bossa version of The Faux Noise anthem ’Oh Father (Hymn)’. Cry your heart out.

Thats it for now.
